Thank you for choosing to join the Paint Pots team as a student or volunteer. We are delighted to welcome you to our nursery family.
Students and volunteers play an important role within our settings. Your enthusiasm, care and willingness to learn help us maintain safe, nurturing and positive environments for children. Whether you are joining us as part of a placement, work experience, training course or voluntary role, your contribution helps children feel settled, valued and supported.
As part of your role, you will help safeguard children, support daily routines, work alongside permanent staff, and follow Paint Pots policies and procedures. To help you settle into your role, we have developed a 4-week student and volunteer induction programme. This is designed to give you the essential knowledge, awareness and confidence needed to work safely and appropriately within our settings.
There is a lot to learn, but you will not be expected to do it alone. Your manager, mentor and colleagues will support you throughout your induction, answer questions, and help you understand how we work at Paint Pots.
We want you to feel welcomed, valued and confident as part of the Paint Pots team. Please speak to your manager or mentor at any point if you need help or are unsure about anything. We are very pleased to have you with us and look forward to supporting you during your time at Paint Pots.
