Routine Staff Meetings
The Nursery Manager is responsible for convening staff meetings on a regular basis, and at least once a term. If there are exceptional circumstances why a member of staff cannot attend a meeting, this should be discussed with the nursery manager.
Meetings should take no more than an hour, and staff should be made aware of the time, date and length of meeting well in advance in order to organise personal commitments so they can attend.
These meetings will be attended by the following staffing levels, as appropriate:

Minutes of the meeting must be taken and these must be retained for audit. These notes will be a summary of the main points of discussion and any agreed action items.
Staff must sign a register of attendance and this sent to the Finance/payroll team with the submission of the monthly payroll timesheet on 15th of the month. Staff will either receive time in lieu (TOIL) or be paid for all staff meetings they attend.
