Thank you for choosing to join the Paint Pots team as a Manager or Deputy Manager. We are delighted to welcome you to our nursery family.
Managers and Deputies play a key leadership role within Paint Pots. You help set the tone for the setting, support staff, safeguard children, build positive relationships with families, and ensure that high standards are maintained across care, education, compliance and daily practice.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for leading by example, supporting your team, monitoring practice, implementing policies and procedures, and helping children to feel safe, settled, valued and ready to learn. To help you settle into your role, we have developed a 12-week Manager and Deputy induction programme. This is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence and practical understanding needed to lead effectively within Paint Pots.
There is a lot to learn, but you will not be expected to do it alone. Your mentor, supervisor, senior managers and the central support team will support you throughout your induction, answer questions, and help you understand how we work across our settings.
We want you to feel welcomed, valued and confident as a leader within the Paint Pots team. Please speak to your mentor, supervisor or senior manager at any point if you need help or are unsure about anything. We are very pleased to have you with us and look forward to supporting you in your role.
