How to use this guide

1. Read each policy and document listed.
2. Discuss learning with your manager.
3. Complete the Bank Staff Induction Record.
4. Ask questions if anything is unclear.
5. Continue through the programme week by week.

⚠️ Important: This page is a guide for staff and managers. It should not be completed directly on the public website. Managers must complete a separate Maintenance Induction Record for each new starter and save the signed copy in the staff member’s staffing file. This can be downloaded below:

Prior to Employment Checks

Focus:

Safer recruitment checks, employment documentation, role-specific manager requirements and system setup.

Expected completion:

Before the staff member begins employment, or as soon as possible where a check is already in progress.

• DBS received / checked on update service
• Right to work check on file and sent to senior team
• Issued with job description
• Contract signed and kept in staff file
• New starter form completed and sent to finance. All paperwork uploaded to Moorepay
• Qualification checked, as appropriate
• Added to Famly with Paint Pots email address
