Purpose of the Policy

Paint Pots Preschool & Nursery provides equipment to support the safe, effective and professional delivery of childcare and associated administration.

This policy sets out clear expectations for the use, care, security and return of nursery equipment, and helps ensure:

• Equipment is used appropriately and safely.
• Nursery property is protected from loss, damage or misuse.
• Personal and sensitive information is kept secure.

Scope

This policy applies to all equipment owned, leased or provided by Paint Pots, including, but not limited to:

• Laptops, tablets and computers.
• Mobile phones and smart devices.
• Printers, scanners and networking equipment.
• Cameras and audio equipment.
• Portable storage devices, for example USB drives.
• Any other electronic or technical equipment provided for work purposes.

Ownership of Equipment

All equipment issued by Paint Pots remains the property of the nursery at all times.
